Mike’s Tex-Mex Restaurant

Mike’s is an institution for the people of Jomtien, excellently located just off Thappraya Road as you come out of the city heading to Jomtien, Mike’s is tucked away in a small soi on the left.
Mike’s has been open for nearly twenty years and has been serving great Mexican food to the hungry people of Pattaya ever since 2000.
Everything is made fresh at Mike’s with the best imported and locally sourced ingredients. The atmospheric dining room has twelve tables and sixty diners can eat comfortably.
Some clients pop into the restaurant during the day to enjoy one of Mike’s signature Margaritas that are made from fresh juice, and can come in Jumbo size called Cadilac!
There are also fresh fruit margaritas, and homemade sangria which is ideal to cool down on a hot day.
Mike’s serves authentic Mexican food as well as Tex-Mex style dishes, there are a choice of starters, Mexican traditional dishes, set menus, Mike’s original dishes, and of course A la Carte.
Tread carefully ordering your appetizers at Mike’s as main meal portions are very generous. However, the realistic pricing entices you to select a tasty starter before the main event.
The choice of starters is generous and definitely value for money such as dishes like: Homemade Chips and Salsa, Nachos, Quesadilla, Mini Quesadilla Supreme, Taquitos, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Guacamole, and Mike’s Jalapeno Poppers.
There are six set menus which serve delicious combinations of enchiladas, tacos, gorgedas, huevos rancheros, quesadillas, burritos, and the grand sounding Hungry Hombre Specials.
Mike’s Tex-Mex Originals
Mike’s has a great list of Tex-Mex original dishes that will titillate your taste buds and excite your palette.
- Monterey Fajitas – a large and tender chicken breast which is dipped into a special house batter and deep fried until golden brown. This is then topped with jalapeno peppers, special sauce, blended melted cheese and salsa.
- Cream Chicken – chicken breast sauteed in oil and garlic and cooked in homemade salsa, topped with Mike’s secret white creamy sauce.
- Devil’s Chicken – sliced chicken breast, cooked with red salsa habanero sauce.
- Chorizo and Scrambled Egg Burrito – tortilla filled with homemade chorizo and three scrambled eggs.
Mexican Traditional Dishes
Most people come to Mike’s for a taste of traditional Mexican food, and are not disappointed as all the loved Mexican favourite dishes are served at Mike’s.
All the fun starts with the Quesadilla Supreme followed by, Enchiladas Grande, Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas Grande, Taco Salad, Chimichanga, Mexican Omelette, Tacos Grande, Nachos Grande, Burrito, Fresh Vegetable Burrito, California Burrito Supreme, Huevos Rancheros, Carnitas and Chili Rellenos.
